Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? We've got answers.
How does the Amazon Wishlist Importer work?
Paste any public Amazon wishlist link (including mobile app short links like a.co/d/...). GiftListNow resolves the link, parses product titles, images, and current prices, and lets you choose who the gifts are for with a single click.
Can I prevent spouses or partners from drawing each other in Secret Santa?
Yes! Organizers can open the member list and set custom pair exclusions. Our matching algorithm mathematically guarantees that excluded pairs will never draw one another.
Does GiftListNow support White Elephant exchanges?
Yes! When creating a new event, choose White Elephant. You can customize the gift spending budget, establish turn orders, and enforce steal limits (e.g. max 3 steals before a gift is locked).
How does anonymous gift claiming work?
When you click "Claim & View" on an item, the status updates to Claimed for all other group members to prevent double-gifting. The recipient's view remains unmarked, preserving the surprise!
Is GiftListNow completely free?
Yes, GiftListNow is 100% free for organizers and participants. We support the platform through affiliate retail links when available, at no extra cost to you.
